Vendicari nature reserve

Vendicari offers one of the most beautiful Ionian Coast beaches: an uncontaminated and crystalline sea awarded with 4 Legambiente blue sails!

Whether you love lying in the sun or venturing out looking for special hard-to-reach places, Vendicari offers you more than 7 km of coastline between fine sand and rocky coves. You just have to choose!

Capo Passero’s Island

Capo Passero’s Island faces the town of Portopalo, right on the extreme southern tip of Sicily.

“Connected” to the mainland by a strip of sand that is always submerged but easily passable when there is low tide, the island can also be reached by canoe, pedal boat or with a small fishing boat who transport to and from the island during all day at set times.

Noto

Noto is a small baroque jewel perched on a plateau which dominates the Asinaro valley, covered with citrus fruits.

The palaces are majestic, all built in local limestone, soft and compact, with the whiteness that time has colored creating that magnificent golden and pink color accentuated by the light of the sunset.

Carratois beach

South-eastern Sicily’s beaches are among the most beautiful and wild on the island. They are characterized by fine golden sand and long sandy shores which alternate with small coves with half-moon beaches.
Some beaches are located within the nature reserves and are the most preserved and pristine ones. Some of them are reachable only by feet and therefore quieter in summer.
